Dead calm lake with a beautiful sunrise and reflections. A day with lots of ups and downs, mostly forest and not a lot of views. Another long hard day of marching. It is hard to explain. You are surrounded by beauty, mostly steep forest and rock with some views thrown in. But the trail is mostly harsh and rocky and requires full concentration with hiking poles. You have to watch every step. Took my first fall today but no injuries. Is this adventure? Hard grinding work? Fun? Draining? Enjoyable? Do I like it? Do I want to finish? All very hard questions to answer now.
Ahh but the sights I have seen, the people and friends, and all I am learning. It’s all good.

Gorgeous pictures today! I don’t think you’d be human if you weren’t asking yourself all those questions!
Great trip Scott, keep on truckin
That fall is going to cost you a case of beer. You’re doing great and it’s a wonderful blog.
You’ve got this. Thanks for the stream of updates, I’m enjoying the posts–with only a little jealousy once in a while.
