Jon, Svea dog and I hiked part of the Chicago Lakes Trail by Mt. Evans. Just 5 miles but at altitude and one long climb. It went great and I am very happy. I think all those trips up that dang big hill at home paid off. I don’t think Svea noticed the climb, when done she just wanted to play. 50 degrees up top, drive down 30 min. To 85 degrees in Denver.
Tomorrow It Gets Real
Alarm is set for 4:30 and the trail starts at Indian Creek Trailhead about 40 min away. Now I try and sleep.
